Heart of Communication

Hello! I’m Phaedra Hill, founder of Heart of Communication, LLC and a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience serving children across a wide range of ages and needs. I hold a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Florida State University (Go Seminoles!) and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I’m proud to be licensed to practice in the state of Florida. My professional journey began at United Cerebral Palsy of Central Florida (UCP), where I spent eight rewarding years supporting children from birth through young adulthood. I then continued my work with Orange County Public Schools, providing therapy services to students in Pre-K through 12th grade. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of communication challenges including articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders (stuttering), language delays, autism spectrum disorders, and more. After more than a decade of serving families in clinical and school-based settings, I launched Heart of Communication, LLC—a private practice grounded in both professional experience and a deep passion for helping children thrive. Through my practice, I remain committed to empowering young communicators and supporting families with compassionate, personalized care.
